Operation Arrow

Since 1950, the Order of the Arrow has played an essential role at each National Jamboree through a program called Operation Arrow. Arrowmen form into chapters and support all aspects of the jamboree program, logistics, and operations. Operation Arrow consists of two main programs: OA Service Corps and Summit Apex.

The Summit Apex is a new half-day outpost program area that will inspire Scouts to realize and truly appreciate the benefits of their Scouting membership. Scouts will engage in large-scale activities, a unique jamboree dinner experience, and evening reflection/celebration that will leave them with a renewed enthusiasm for Scouting and a determination to grow membership back home.

Operation Arrow is a fantastic opportunity for outstanding Arrowmen ages 16 and older to participate as a Jamboree Service Team (JST) staff member. Serving as a JST member is one of the most affordable ways to attend the Jamboree. It allows you to meet Arrowmen from across the nation, building life-long friendships through service while enjoying the jamboree’s fun.
