Section G9 Officer Elections for the positions of section chief, section vice chief, and section secretary
will take place at the annual section conclave on Sunday, April 21, 2024, following breakfast. The
conclave schedule will detail the specific location of the election. The elected section officers will
serve until the next annual section conclave (April 2025).
To be eligible for election, a candidate must meet the following requirements in accordance with the latest printing of the Field Operations Handbook:
- A registered member, in good standing, of the Order of the Arrow and the Boy Scouts of
America in a Council within the Section who has the approval, in writing and in advance of
being nominated, of their Council Scout Executive or Council Scout Executive’s designee. The
member’s Council must be in good standing (renewed its OA charter) with the national
office. - Younger than 21 during the entire term of office.
Written approval for a candidate must be submitted by 12-Noon on Saturday, April 20, 2024 to Section Adviser Brian Schaeffer.
